Full of Noises Festival Films series- Full of Noises

Successfully capturing a festival in all its varying sound and lighting conditions isn't an easy job and, as such, we've been extremely lucky to have worked with Laurence as our go-to filmmaker in recent years. Laurence has been a great addition to our team and with so much going on at any one moment during the festival it's always a relief to know that the documentation is in good hands, with nothing being missed. His work for us has been of a really high standard and is already proving invaluable in telling people about what we do and attracting new visitors to the event. We're already looking forward to working with him again this year!

Glenn Boulter-Full of Noises

Full of Noises is a sound art and new music organisation based on Cumbria's Furness Peninsular. The film series produced for this collective are a combination of live performance, interviews and documentation of instillation works throughout their festival period.
Folklore Tapes
This film is a recording of a live performance of The Art of Magic which is a new collaborative project devised by Folklore Tapes and The Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boscastle, Cornwall. The production of the film was originally developed as part of the Full of Noises festival 2018 live recording sessions, but developed into a stand alone segment using elements of design work based on the touring art exhibition that accompanied the performance.

Larry was somehow able to achieve exceptional and inspiring shots throughout our performance without us ever even noticing his presence. We are rarely filmed during live performances and the material shot and edited by Larry has become a unique glimpse and a useful tool for our collective progress
